Leaves Exhibition

I have always enjoyed doing watercolour paintings and in the autumn of 2017 I found a Ginkgo tree in a park in Southampton. I’ve always loved Ginkgo and though I’d paint a picture of some of the leaves. I rather liked this picture so decided to do some more. This year I added another Red maple leaf and a Bear’s Breeches flower head.

Starting on 5 March 2019,  I have an exhibition of these painting in The Art House, the exhibition runs until the end of the month. For now I need to get on with painting some more and I have a large box of leaves to choose from. I might have to visit the Ginkgo tree again and get some more leaves.
